Yihui Chen
Yihui is an E-learning assistant intern at Coderstrust and performs roles such as course maintenance and reviews, student support as well as video production. She has experience working in the media industry and is involved in the implementation of video production projects within Coderstrust. Before joining Coderstrust, she served as a teaching assistant in international educational organisation helping to create teaching materials and support students. In her spare time, Yihui enjoys love travelling, sports, cooking and visiting museums.

By the end of this course, you’ll be able to:

  • Edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Import and export videos
  • Add special effects to videos
  • Enhance videos with graphics and subtitles

Description

This course is designed to help students master the basic knowledge of video editing and practice the skills they have learned in class in different assignments and a final project. Adobe Premiere Pro will be the video editing software we are going to introduce and demonstrate in class. The course is structured to start from a general introduction to a rough video editing process and to different specific functions and effects which can be added to polish a video. 

Requirements:

  • Basic digital literacy skills
  • Basic English skills
  • Previous experience in video editing and Adobe Premiere Pro is helpful, but not necessary
